The Scout Association offers fun and everyday adventure to 573,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 25 across the United Kingdom

We provide opportunities for young people aged 6-18 to learn Skills for Life through adventurous and challenging activities. In the past 4 years alone, our members have climbed mountains, swam in glacial lakes, camped in new places, made new friends, have learnt to cook, climb, be creative and made some unforgettable memories.

Our friendly and enthusiastic team of more than 20 volunteers always needs more help – either working directly with young people or helping to manage premises, equipment, fundraising, finances, publicity and other group affairs. If you are able to spare some of your time we would love to hear from you. Please contact Karen Wheeler, the Group Scout Leader using the form below selecting the Adult Volunteer option.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
